Community Partnerships

Partnering with area schools, local recreation departments, Councils on Aging, 4H Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, and other organizations such as Special Olympics and local Girl Scout troops is an important part of community involvement here at NEV.

In 2014, New England Village became the host agency for the newly chartered Hanson Aktion Club.  Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Hanson, this service leadership group is passionate about making a difference in the world by building stronger communities.

Service projects for Aktion Club range from bake sales and food drives to spaghetti dinners, collecting toys for Toys for Tots, and making cards for seniors. This club is member-led and relies on the support of volunteers.  The Hanson Aktion Club remains one of the largest and most active clubs in the New England and Bermuda district.
