If you are over the age of 70 ½ and have an IRA, you /may be eligible for a Qualified Charitable Distribution. This is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA to New England Village. The distribution can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distribution and is not considered taxable income - providing tax benefits even if you no longer itemize due to the higher standard deduction.
