Some of this expertise is in-house and some is part of a robust referral network built over the course of more than 40 years of delivering supports to the I/DD community in southeastern Massachusetts. These enhanced services include: n A Clinical Director (in-house) n A Health Services Coordinator (RN) and a LPN (in-house) n Medical Case Management (in-house) n Affiliations with local visiting nurse and hospice care services n An extensive network of local primary care physicians and Boston area specialists who are just 35 miles away n Therapeutic Supports like Psychiatry, Counseling and Nutritional Services, Speech/Language Therapy, Music Therapy, Massage Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Community Connections At New England Village we believe diversity and inclusion result in richer and more dynamic communities. To that end, we have established many partnerships with organizations and businesses in Pembroke and its surrounding towns. Community connections are a key element of all New England Village services, be it individual or group activities, competitive employment, volunteerism, or the development of a weekly community outing schedule that serves the specific interests and preferences of each individual served. Adult Education and Enrichment Offerings New England Village offers the people it serves and the general community a wide variety of enriching evening and weekend activities intended to educate, inspire, or enhance an individual’s experience. Using a person- centered approach and designed to accommodate varied interests and diverse learning styles, these programs are available to those with and without disabilities. New England Village Day Services To complement and enhance its residential offerings, NEV operates three distinct day programs to meet the varied interests and needs of residents and community members. They are: Employment Supports, Community Based Day Services (CBDS), and Day Habilitation programs. Our Support Team There is no question that NEV’s committed and supportive staff is what makes our programs exceptional. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to create a respectful, energizing and nurturing environment for our residents. Each of our staff members is trained in person- centered thinking, positive behavioral supports, medical awareness, and CPR/First Aid. “ Testimonials “Honestly, Kyle is the happiest that I have seen him during his adult life. I credit the amazing staff and rich programming at New England Village for this. The kindness and dedication of the staff, combined with the individualized approach to caring for Kyle and meeting his needs has enabled him to truly blossom into the person that he is today. My husband and I call him “the Renaissance Man.” – Sabrina Nicholson, referring to her brother Kyle Hundley’s progress since coming to NEV. “Everyone at NEV has been very loving and caring and we could not be happier with the support that Molly receives. She has much more community involvement than in her previous setting and spends time recreating and shopping in the neighboring towns. Molly’s quality of life has vastly improved. She is safe, well cared for and engaged in meaningful and enriching activities.” – Mike Houston Admissions Information For more information about the enrollment process or to request a tour, contact our Admissions Director at 781-293-5461 or via email at We invite private and state-funded referrals.
