Irish Fest
Music Instructor Sean Carr hosted a St. Paddy’s Day celebration for NEV residents complete with music and green refreshments on March 16th in the Ray Assembly Hall. Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided to play a little St. Patrick’s Day trick of her own and gave us a bit of a winter storm for the night (enough snow to keep our Irish step-dancer away). Those who were able to make it over were treated to Irish songs, dancing by Beth Bradshaw, Rita Limauro and Peter Burbank, and green refreshments (colored ginger ale and granola bars in a green wrapper). Sean came equipped with a pot of gold, a flag of Ireland, a sign post for weary travelers trying to find their way, and even a piece of the Blarney Stone!!!

the Irish music.

The snow outside didn't stop these Irish
fans from coming out!

It wouldn’t be St. Paddy’s Day
without an Irish toast!

John Koechlin gets ready for the next song.

Peter Burbank dances a jig.
