Hanukkah Party and Gift
Swap This celebration took place on the first night of Hanukkah.
Michael Hackmeyer helped Dr. Efron with the reading of the Hanukkah
story and lighting of the menorah. The group then shared favorite
memories of how they celebrated Hanukkah with their families. The
party would not have been complete without latkes made under the
direction of Joe Sances. (of course, there was applesauce and sour
cream as an accompaniment!) Bryan then led the group in a game of
dreidel. He brought along his own “special dreidel” (very
suspicious). Cathy Siegal showed off her spinning skills but Michael
Hackmeyer and Arnold Feigenson emerged as the big winners.
