Field Day at the Village
We couldn’t have asked for better weather for our Field Day.  This non-competitive event is designed for all skill levels, giving everyone a chance to participate and have some outdoor fun.  Some of the activities included were:  a softball throw (aiming for targets marked by hula hoops); soccer kick (Beth Sheingold, Carrie Wells and Donna Burke all excelled at this); race walking; basketball toss (using the new hoop at the SWC); and parachute fun.

The spectators get ready to watch a
basketball toss event.

Carrie Wells watches as Donna Burke
takes her shot.

MaryAnne Cooney takes her turn with Donna Burke (L) and Carrie Wells (R) looking on.

Heidi Ward plays catch with
Kim Lowman (staff).

Glenn Carey participates in the softball toss.

Michael Hackmeyer tries for the hoop while Glenn Carey and Allan Feldman cheer him on.

Everyone gathers around the parachute.

Meg Mullare and Jim Zabel (staff) walk
under the parachute.

Allan Feldman gets ready to show-off his
softball toss skills.

Cathy Siegal checks out the target.

Beth Sheingold prepares to kick the ball.

Meg Mullare advances the ball down the field.
