Rick joined
New England Village in April 2006 and is responsible for managing the
Employment Supports Program. His responsibilities are to oversee the vocational
programs at the work center and at the community work crews and to facilitate
competitive placements within private and public sectors.
Rick started out in Human Services working for
AMIGO, a program for severely autistic adolescents during the day and as a
drummer during the evenings. After graduating from UMass Boston, Rick worked in
the audit and marketing departments of L.L. Bean, controller for two
manufacturing companies, and sales manager/president
of a Florida software
development company. When returning to Massachusetts he returned to Human
Services as the Job Developer for South Shore ARC in Weymouth.
