Margaret Watson, known to her friends as "Margy", came to live at the
Village in 1975. She worked full time for twenty years and then decided to retire to pursue her many other interests. She attends music, art, and fitness classes, and enjoys shopping, and going out for coffee with friends. Margy's family is very important to her and visits with them often, flying to Florida or traveling to Connecticut. Margy is always ready for an excursion, such as a train ride to
Boston, or a ferry around the harbor. She also likes to take artistic journeys. Combining deliberate sweeping brush strokes with contrasting and
pleasing color choices, Ms. Watson takes the viewer on an artistic odyssey. While she is working,
Ms. Watson frequently makes such remarks as: 'Its beautiful, I made this...Oh, I wonder where this (creativity) is going?'
