Joe McGovern came to the Village in 1991. A natural
historian of Plymouth, where he grew up, he has a passion for history of all sorts. He has an encyclopedic memory for
all sports history, facts, and trivia. He is a terrific basketball player and is on the NEV team. He also enjoys taking long walks. Joe's family is very   important to him and they share visits often. Joe's artwork is full of spirit and knowledge, beckoning the viewer to participate.  Creative activity stirs a flurry of childhood memories reminiscent of adventure and intrigue for Joe: a grinding uphill battle on a bicycle or a carefree breezy ride is to be decided by the viewer.
