Janet Hirsch grew up in Newton, MA and at 80, is the oldest resident at the Village. She is a pianist and enjoys playing and listening to classical music. She spends four days a week at a daytime program, enjoying the many activities offered there. She also participates in a water aerobics class at the Sollar Wellness Center with The Living Center. She likes to work on word puzzles, going out to eat, taking vacations and, of course, painting. Romantic and impressionistic best describe the paintings of Ms. Hirsch. She plants a flower garden before our eyes with her flowing brushwork and delicate touch. "Lovely," she says, and, truly, it describes her work.
