MaryAnne Cooney shares an apartment with three of her friends and has lived at the Village since 1984. Although working part-time, she still has time to pursue her many  interests and talents. MaryAnne works out, takes spin classes and kickboxing, and walks daily. She has taught sign language to schoolchildren; performed in a theater group; and is a dedicated artist. Some of her other hobbies include dancing, cooking, working on her computer, and spending time with her family and friends.  MaryAnne's enthusiasm and exub-erance for life is reflected in her creativity. In her artwork, she uses a rich palette of brilliant colors with a very sure hand. Her paintings seem about to burst forth from their boundaries and have a radiance as warm as her smile.
