Marjorie
Abrams grew up in Brookline, MA and has lived at the Village for thirty
years. She is enjoying her retirement, spending time with family and
friends, and pursuing her hobbies. Ms. Abrams is an expert at all types
of needlework, knitting, and weaving, and enjoys reading the Globe every
day. She loves being around children, and also likes to go window
shopping and for rides in the country. Marjorie is fluent in sign
language and has taught sign to school children. Her family is very
important to her and she visits them frequently. Marjorie greatly enjoys
sharing her art with her family by giving them the cards made from her
designs. Exuberantly plunging into creativity, Ms. Abrams provides
immense descriptive information in her colored pencil and watercolor
pieces. Ms. Abrams's work is reminiscent of an Audubon field guide,
often comprised of nature scenes. |
