Those who are ready to work outside the Village are assisted in finding and keeping jobs in the greater community. Once career interests are explored and identified and realistic employment plans are developed, staff offer assistance with the application process, resume writing, interviewing skills, job coaching and follow-up. Staff also teach candidates how to build strong working relationships with supervisors and co-workers, and they maintain regular communication with the employee and the employer to assure that the employment situation is rewarding for both parties.
