Every December, Facilities Manager Joe
Sances invites our residents to the Sollar Wellness Center kitchen to
make latkes for our annual Hanukkah gift swap party. With many years
of latke making experience under his belt, Joe has truly perfected his
recipe. Many hands slice potatoes, chop onions and crack eggs to
prepare the 70+ latkes needed for the event. Although those who
helped make them ended up completely covered in flour, it was well
worth the effort. Everyone who helped was allowed to sample the
finished product and they unanimously agreed that these were one of
the best batches yet!
